Brake wear depends on how and where you drive, so it’s worth having them checked at every service. Common jobs include:
- Pads and discs: front and rear replacement, including wear sensors
- Calipers: sticking or seized calipers, slider pins and seals
- Brake fluid: fluid changes to the manufacturer’s schedule, as brake fluid absorbs moisture over time
- Handbrake: parking brake shoes and adjustment, and electronic parking brake faults
- Warning lights: diagnosing brake, ABS and stability control warnings
